We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Customer Success Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working cross-functionally to deliver exceptional service. The successful candidate will support customer accounts through onboarding, service and invoice inquiries, and sales support—particularly focused on retaining and strengthening customer relationships.
What you’ll do
- Act as the primary contact for assigned customer accounts.
- Maintain accurate customer profiles and documentation.
- Conduct business and quality reviews.
- Conduct welcome calls for new customers to ensure smooth onboarding.
- Provide training and support on UPS Capital systems and processes.
- Handle customer inquiries related to billing and payment.
- Liaise with Finance & Accounting to resolve issues and ensure accurate allocations.
- Collaborate with Sales to identify opportunities for account growth and retention.
- Support retention efforts by addressing customer concerns and enhancing satisfaction.
- Support service failure recovery and escalates where necessary.
- Track shipments and prepare performance reports.
- Work closely with Claims, Sales, and F&A teams to ensure cohesive support.
- Provide backup support across customer accounts as needed.
What you’ll need
- Previous experience in a customer service role preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively; work collaboratively within a team.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- A customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to service delivery.
- Ability to analyze data and prepare reports.
- Knowledge of Insurance or logistics industries preferred.
- Language skills – English and either German, French or Italian required.
