Due to the development of John Deere Bank in Poznań, Poland, we are currently seeking candidates for the position of:

Your major responsibilities will be:

• Assume responsibility as the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (“MLRO”) for one or more countries.
• Perform “Know-Your-Customer” (KYC) due diligence at the onset of new business relationships with John Deere Financial customers and during periodical reviews to ensure compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist financing (CTF) requirements.
• Follow up with customers and dealers to ensure receipt of required KYC documentation.
• Accurately document and update records in required systems.
• Identify and report “red-flags” regarding AML & CTF.
• Review and assess sanctions screening results.
• Review and improve existing procedures in collaboration with John Deere Financial’s compliance team and create new ones if required.
• Participate in the digital transformation and automation of John Deere Financial’s customer onboarding processes.
• Support in responding to inquiries, audits, and regulatory inspections.

Skills we are looking for:

• Previous experience in KYC, AML & CTF compliance, or within audit functions in the financial sector would be a plus.
• Excellent analytical and strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong operational skills - translating complex processes into easy-to-follow instructions.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines while maintaining close attention to detail.
• Fluency in English and German or Spanish is essential.
• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business, Law, Compliance, Economics or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a diverse environment.
