Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Independently manage key customer accounts, utilizing customer portals to download/upload order information, product details, analyze data, and use open order reports to meet delivery requirements.
- Handle daily incoming customer calls and emails regarding pricing and availability, emergency order entry, backorder status, tracking/shipping information, freight forwarders, and returns to achieve first‑call resolution goals.
- Initiate and expedite production for Gates products based on customer requirements.
- Provide product information, competitive interchanges, and product substitutions to customers.
- Utilize the internal customer database to track cases.
- Support the CX team in meeting monthly metrics.

- Requires in‑depth knowledge of department processes and procedures.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Requirements and Preferred Skills
- 1–3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in customer service within a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers while effectively collaborating within a team setting.
- Self‑starter with a strong attention to detail and a drive to ensure customer success through proactive and consistent follow‑up.
- Demonstrated decisiveness and a willingness to take initiative in addressing individual customer issues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Fluency in Italian and English is mandatory.
