As a CDI Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for providing data and insights that enable key decisions on HSBC Technology effectiveness and satisfaction. You will design and develop Google Cloud Platform-based solutions to support CTO strategy and deliver world-class services in a consistent and compliant way.
responsibilities :
Develop and deliver a Google Cloud Platform-hosted survey tool based on microservice architecture to measure internal customer sentiment across technology products.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to shape product and service direction, delivering innovation and customer delight.
Establish a digital environment and automate processes to minimize variation and ensure predictable, high-quality code and data.
Create technical test plans and records, including unit, integration, and functional tests, within automated test environments to ensure code quality.
Work with Ops, Dev, and Test Engineers to identify and address operational issues (performance, alerting, design defects, etc.) at all stages of product or service release/change.
Automate the continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline.
Ensure compliance with governance and control frameworks.
requirements-expected :
Good experience (min. 2 years) in developing and deploying microservice solutions on Google Cloud Platform, including CloudRun, CloudBuild, Artifact Registry, Pub/Sub, CloudSQL, BigQuery, and Looker Studio.
Expertise in implementing best practices for cloud architecture, CI/CD, and optimizing applications for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
Ability to analyze complex technical and business problems and develop effective solutions.
Senior stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact with decision-makers daily.
Proficiency in English, with strong communication skills at a business level.
Strong reporting and presentation skills, with the ability to analyze and present data clearly.
Innovative mindset, capable of challenging conventional approaches and creating new ways of working in a dynamic environment.
