Customer Data Insights (CDI) Senior Engineer is responsible for ensuring Chief Technology Office (CTO) ExCo, Stakeholders, Product Owners and Customer Success PODs have the required data and insights available to be able to make decisions and determinations on HSBC Technology effectiveness and satisfaction. Reporting to the CDI POD Lead in CTO Ops Res & Enablement, the role will work to ensure world class technology data insight solutions enable business success by defining strategy, developing Services in a repeatable, consistent and complaint way to meet the POD objectives.  


    What you need to have to succeed in this role 

    • In depth development and deployment experience of microservice solutions on Google Cloud Platform including CloudRun, CloudBuild, Artifact Registry, Pub / Sub, CloudSQL, BigQuery and Looker Studio.
    • Experience of implementing best practices for cloud architecture, continuous integration, continuous deployment and optimizing applications for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
    • Ability to analyse complex technical and business problems and develop effective solutions.
    • Senior stakeholder management skills. You will interact with hiring managers and department heads on daily basis.
    • Proficiency in English. We are a diverse company. Ability to communicate on a business level with everyone is a must.
    • Reporting and presenting skills. You must know how to analyse and present recruitment data in a clear manner.

    ,[Develop and deliver a Google Cloud Platform hosted survey tool based on microservice architecture to measure internal customer sentiment across company technology products., Collaborate with engineers, architects and business stakeholders, to understand and drive the product and services direction delivering innovation and customer delight., Establish a digital environment and automate processes to minimize variation and ensure predictable high-quality code and data., Create technical test plans and records, including unit, integration &functional tests, within automated test environments to ensure code quality., Working with Ops, Dev and Test Engineers to ensure operational issues (performance, operator intervention, alerting, design defect related issues, etc.) are identified and addressed at all stages of a product or service release/change., Responsible for automating the continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline., Deliver the above while complying with HSBC governance & control frameworks. Requirements: Google cloud platform, PUB, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Looker Studio, Cloud, Continuous integration
