As our company is growing we are looking for Credit Risk Manager

Purpose of the role

• Credit Risk Manager will be a key player in developing, implementing, and maintaining our risk management framework for the Polish market. You will bring market know-how and expertise on how to set up effective risk processes to drive growth of the business in a competitive Polish environment. We want you to drive changes in the way we do things to become more relevant to customer needs while protecting the business and its potential losses.

• You will be responsible for assessing, monitoring, and mitigating risks associated with our factoring and lending operations. You will collaborate with other departments, including sales, IT, and legal, to ensure a proactive approach to risk management in line with regulatory and market conditions in Poland.

What will you do?

• Take responsibility for risk performance in Poland,

• Coordinate the Polish team to secure risk operations – OPS, risk, and collections,

• Be the main counterpart for the sales team in Poland,

• Connect data and improve the decision-making process in Poland,

• Bring innovations into the risk processes in Poland,

• Ensure compliance in Poland.

Minimum Requirements:

• University degree,

• Proven experience in risk management for at least 5 years,

• Proven track record in integrating and leveraging different data points for effective risk strategies,

• Experience in leading a team and delivering change,

• Fluent English is a must,

• Knowledge of financial statements and accounting principles,

• Understanding of statistics and ability to read charts and interpret numbers,

• Basic understanding of Polish legal and compliance framework mainly related to the lending business,

• Polish AML requirements for B2B is an advantage,

• Understanding of collection processes,

• Risk mindset,

• Positive attitude and team player,

• Good communication/interpretation skills,

• Independent in assigned duties.
