Job Summary
Assist the Senior Credit Officer (SCO) with control checking of credit grading scorecards, financial ratios, ESG inputs to the credit process and limit and exposures requests. Validate and document the control checks. In addition, support the Standard Chartered AG Senior Credit Officer with management of Credit Risk MI and Regulatory Governance responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Credit Approval Support: Assist the SCO with control checking of credit grading scorecards.
- Review financial ratios and ESG inputs to the credit process.
- Validate and document control checks.
- Document control checks and maintain clean files.
- Review and monitor metrics related to the efficiency of the credit function.
- Support creation of Credit Risk MI.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in banking with functional experience in Credit Risk Reporting / Credit Operations.
- Good communication skills – written and oral.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to influence and resolve disputes.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to create effective work relationships across functions & borders.
- Displays focused, thorough, organized, and results‑oriented work aptitude.
- Willingness to manage and prioritise multiple tasks.
- Multi‑cultural awareness and sensitivity.
- Fluent in English.
