Responsibilities

As a Credit Analyst, you will be based in Poland but your closest business partners will be in Germany. Your day-to-day job will consist of preparing credit applications for corporate clients, as you will be assigned a portfolio of clients to contribute to the team’s goals. This opportunity will enable you to use English (or German if you feel comfortable) on a daily basis and provide you with a new level of professional challenges.

Your future scope of responsibility will cover:

1. Preparing credit applications (annual reviews/interim credit requests/credit opinions, etc.) in compliance with guidelines, procedures, and timelines.
2. Writing a clear and concise credit analysis based on a general study of the counterparty and the understanding of the proposed transaction (nature of the line, maturity, amount).
3. Checking the compliance of the credit request with the existing company policies.
4. Commenting on the terms and conditions as appropriate (structure, amount, collateral, credit matters defined in the legal documentation).
5. Issuing an autonomous credit opinion and giving a relevant recommendation.
6. Launching credit applications in the company electronic tool for signatures and collecting the appropriate sign-offs.
7. Assigning obligor ratings and uploading them in the company tool.
8. Monitoring of assigned credit portfolio.
9. Cooperating with both Warsaw and Frankfurt teams, participating in regular operational review calls and reporting.

Profile required

You will be best suited for this role if:

1. You have at least 3 years of experience in credit in the corporate banking business.
2. You know English very well.
3. You have a degree in a field related to economics.
4. You can easily write a concise summary of an analysis.
5. You can cooperate with multiple partners from different business units.
6. You are flexible, well-organized, and autonomous.
7. You take responsibility for your work and its quality.
