Our client, an international company specializing in safety area for the offshore, maritime and wind power sector, is expanding its team. We are seeking a Country Manager to drive the further development of the company, initially focusing on the Tri-City area and eventually expanding responsibilities nationwide across Poland.

What we expect

• Insight and experience in wind power or offshore industries
• Management experience, preferably incl. PnL responsibility
• Commercially oriented, natural networker and relationship builder
• Safety or general HSEQ experience
• Knowledge of English C1
• Higher Education

Your tasks

• The Country Manager is responsible for the development of company’s presence firstly in Gdansk, and secondly in the wider Polish market
• Working together with the wider Central Europe team and HQ to organically grow the Poland operations and identify opportunities to support Central Europe operations
• Build pipeline of talent to grow the organization as needed to support revenue growth
• P’n’L responsibility
• Being part of the management board of the Poland business unit
• Overall responsibility for day-to-day operations and business development
• Develop commercial plans and execute them, incl. representing at exhibitions and conferences, entering into framework contracts and marketing plans.
• Competence development of employees
• Represent company in the Polish market to all stakeholders
• Work closely with finance team to control development of costs and manage cash required for expansion
