The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Country Finance Specialist and Subject Matter Expert (m/f/x)*, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Rolling verification of Accounts Reconciliations
Ownership of remediation for unreconciled items for entities in charge
Leading Balance Sheet Review meetings
Reviewing and analyzing TB Validation
Supporting Audit and Statutory Account preparation
Acting as Subject Matter Expert for specific EMEA Accounting activities
Reviewing, validating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in coordination with GPL (Global Process Lead)
Training activities to Finance & Non-Finance
Interface with AP 3rd party Accounting & Service provider
Supporting ad hoc analysis
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
5 years of Finance and/or Accounting experience
Strong technical background in SAP/Oracle
In-depth knowledge of US GAAP
Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Master’s degree in finance, accounting, and/or CPA
Audit experience
Experience with system implementation
Strong project management experience with the ability to lead cross-functional teams
Solid communication skills
Fluent in English
Work location: Remote from Poland
Travel: May include up to 5% domestic/international
Relocation Assistance: not authorized
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
