Job Responsibilities

1. Managing purchasing process of Indirect materials for specified Aptiv sites in the region while considering quality requirements, timeliness, customer orientation, and costs.
2. Following Aptiv SCM policies and procedures, assuring their compliance and execution.
3. Assuring sourcing process/quoting process is performed to Aptiv suppliers (strategic suppliers).
4. Obtaining the best price, negotiating offers that provide high potential for discount/cost avoidance.
5. Processing eRequests in line with agreed timeframe (on time matrix), assuring their best quality (first time quality).
6. Supporting plants in cases of late/missed deliveries – obtaining explanations for occurred delays and actions for the future.
7. Cooperating with Indirect Category Teams in the region.
8. Properly communicating order creation instructions to order creation specialists.
9. Supporting the resolution of price discrepancies and related payment problems.
10. Following yearly targets defined during each MyCore phase.
11. Keeping updated e-tool statuses as required.

Your Background

1. Strong relationship and interpersonal skills to be applied in working with partners across the entire contract life cycle.
2. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced matrixed environment.
3. Strong organizational skills.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications (including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).
5. Excellent written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
6. Highly driven and motivated.
