Job Responsibilities
- Managing purchasing process of Indirect materials for specified Aptiv sites in the region while considering quality requirements, timeliness, customer orientation, and costs.
- Following Aptiv SCM policies and procedures, assuring their compliance and execution.
- Assuring sourcing process/quoting process is performed to Aptiv suppliers (strategic suppliers).
- Obtaining the best price, negotiating offers that provide high potential for discount/cost avoidance.
- Processing eRequests in line with agreed timeframe (on time matrix), assuring their best quality (first time quality).
- Supporting plants in cases of late/missed deliveries – obtaining explanations for occurred delays and actions for the future.
- Cooperating with Indirect Category Teams in the region.
- Properly communicating order creation instructions to order creation specialists.
- Supporting the resolution of price discrepancies and related payment problems.
- Following yearly targets defined during each MyCore phase.
- Keeping updated e-tool statuses as required.
Your Background
- Strong relationship and interpersonal skills to be applied in working with partners across the entire contract life cycle.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced matrixed environment.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications (including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).
- Excellent written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
- Highly driven and motivated.
