We are supporting a leading international financial services organization in their search for a Corporate Tax Compliance & Reporting Manager.
This hybrid working role at Manager level is based in Warsaw within the EMEA and APAC Tax team. The role requires a detailed working understanding of accounting, current and deferred tax and applicable generally accepted accounting principles. It will be ideal for anyone looking to develop and broaden their experience in a complex and fast‑paced international financial services group.

Key Responsibilities
- Covering primarily EMEA and APAC, plus some UK entities in respect of all group compliance and reporting obligations.
- Management of the outsourced EMEA, APAC and UK CT600 corporation tax returns submission process, and being responsible for the review of these tax returns.
- Management of third-party provider regarding tax disclosures/notes preparations for EMEA and APAC, and occasional preparation of tax disclosures for UK statutory accounts in the group.
- Management of the outsourced UK Capital Allowance and R&D Tax Credit claims process.
- Preparing reconciliations of current and deferred tax balances.
- Responding to auditor related requests by having a strong understanding of tax technical concepts.
- Management of group Pillar 2 reporting requirement obligations, primarily working with EMEA and APAC financial controllers.
- Liaising with HMRC, external auditors, external advisors, CFO’s, and all levels of management in the UK and overseas, requiring strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Responsibility for monitoring the Effective Tax Rates and reporting to the US Tax team on these, including proof of tax and deferred tax substantiations.
- Responsible for the UK GPA, group deductions allowance and any related filings.
- Responsibility for team processes, controls and monitoring and input into the UK Senior Accounting Officer certification.
- Managing the EMEA and APAC CT payments process including calculations where necessary.
- Opportunity to be involved with assessing tax impacts of reorganisations, acquisitions, disposals, and compliance for a highly complex and acquisitive group, consisting of partnerships and companies.
- Other ad hoc projects as required.

- Essential qualities of the candidate would be tax reporting experience, the experience of dealing with auditors which requires tact, diplomacy and discretion, ability to work around problems quickly, advanced Excel skills. ACA, ACCA, CTA or ATT qualified.
- Financial services (banking, other brokerages, private equity) experience is an advantage.
- An extremely organised individual due to the complexity of the group structure.
