Corporate Tax Compliance & Reporting Manager – CISL Poland (Warsaw)

We are supporting a leading international financial services organization in their search for a Corporate Tax Compliance & Reporting Manager. This hybrid working role at Manager level is based in Warsaw within the EMEA and APAC Tax team. The role requires a detailed working understanding of accounting, current and deferred tax and applicable generally accepted accounting principles. It is ideal for those looking to broaden their experience in a complex, fast‑paced international financial services group.

Job Location

Warsaw, Poland – Hybrid model (onsite 3 days per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Covering primarily EMEA and APAC, plus some UK entities, in respect of all group compliance and reporting obligations.
• Managing the outsourced EMEA, APAC and UK CT600 corporation tax returns submission process, and reviewing these tax returns.
• Managing third‑party providers regarding tax disclosures/notes preparations for EMEA and APAC, and occasional preparation of tax disclosures for UK statutory accounts.
• Managing the outsourced UK Capital Allowance and R&D Tax Credit claims process.
• Preparing reconciliations of current and deferred tax balances.
• Responding to auditor related requests with a strong understanding of tax technical concepts.
• Managing the group Pillar 2 reporting requirement obligations, primarily working with EMEA and APAC financial controllers.
• Liaising with HMRC, external auditors, external advisors, CFOs, and all levels of management in the UK and overseas, requiring strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Monitoring the Effective Tax Rates and reporting to the US Tax team, including proof of tax and deferred tax substantiations.
• Responsible for the UK GPA, group deductions allowance and any related filings.
• Overseeing team processes, controls and monitoring and contributing to the UK Senior Accounting Officer certification.
• Managing the EMEA and APAC CT payments process including calculations where necessary.
• Opportunity to be involved with assessing tax impacts of reorganisations, acquisitions, disposals and compliance for a highly complex and acquisitive group.
• Other ad‑hoc projects as required.

Personal Attributes

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience in tax reporting, dealing with auditors, advanced Excel skills; ACA, ACCA, CTA or ATT qualified.
• Experience in financial services (banking, brokerages, private equity) is an advantage.
