Job Overview



As a member of the global Strategic Planning & Experience team within Corporate Real Estate, the Global Strategist will develop strategic metro plans across various global locations. This involves research, analysis, planning, scenario building, and financial modeling to identify opportunities for Equinix across its dual asset portfolio. Responsibilities include optimizing office space utilization, enhancing workplace experience, and unlocking revenue. The role is pivotal in creating and embedding a proactive strategic approach to portfolio planning.

This position requires an organized analytical thinker with technical expertise in portfolio and metro strategy, including financial modeling, and excellent attention to detail. Reporting to the Global Director of Strategic Planning and Experience, you will collaborate closely with Corporate Real Estate teams and other internal stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity to influence the strategy for the entire Equinix CRE portfolio.

This role is based in Warsaw, Poland, and involves working from the office at least two days a week. It is a full-time position within the CRE Global Centre of Excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop comprehensive metro plans aligning with strategic goals.
2. Collaborate with CRE, IBX Ops, and stakeholders to gather data and generate scenarios.
3. Establish processes for delivering metro plans, including ownership.
4. Analyze site data to generate insights.
5. Manage quarterly portfolio reviews, including structuring discussions and tracking actions.
6. Identify sites for metro planning in consultation with CRE leadership.
7. Generate scenarios and recommend strategies for metro planning.
8. Prepare reports and presentations for senior management.
