Controlling Manager
Join DFDS as the Manager of the Finance Controllers Team in the Finance Center of Excellence. You will oversee controlling processes, internal controls, and ensure high quality, timeliness and accuracy. You will work closely with various departments to optimise end‑to‑end processes and improve productivity and quality.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Finance Controllers team, ensuring operational excellence and high internal controls compliance standards.
- Identify areas for improvement in service delivery, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to create value.
- Oversee financial processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established standards.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to streamline the controlling function and enhance productivity and quality.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations while managing risks and controls effectively.
- Develop and coach the team, promoting professional growth and high performance through continuous assessment and training.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Audit or a related field.
- Solid professional background in Controlling.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in managing teams.
- Ability to drive change at both the strategic and tactical levels, with exceptional collaboration skills and a value‑driven mindset.
- Experience in managing high‑performing teams and leading transformational/improvement projects in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong understanding of internal controls and accounting, with a proven track record in process optimisation and improvement.
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
