Dürr Group Services is a dedicated support company within the group, helping customers across three global Dürr brands, with a primary focus on the European market. The Shared Service comprises Service Hub, which directly delivers processes to our customers, and Expert Hub, where our employees are integrated into the German team to support client processes.

Responsibilities

  • Developing effective team structures and organization in Shared Services Center.
  • Advancement of effective controlling processes and systems, particularly in areas such as financial analysis, reporting, and performance evaluation.
  • Driving standardization, automation, and efficiency in operational financial processes in line with Corporate strategy.
  • Providing business analytical services and reporting to the business as well as functional controlling support, based on customer requirements (standard reporting and ad hoc requests).
  • Supporting transformation into new system environments: designing, implementing, and maintaining (automated) reporting based on SAP Analytics Cloud.
  • Leading or supporting special projects within the controlling area.
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Qualifications

  • (Minimum) Bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting or business administration.
  • 6+ years of experience in Controlling at an international mid‑size company.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience.
  • Proven project management and leadership skills in a complex and dynamic environment.
  • Deep expertise in Controlling processes, reporting requirements, and data flows as well as system / technical knowledge.
  • Ability to standardize and optimize workflows.
  • Independent, team‑oriented, collaborative working style and flexibility.
  • Strong analytical and solution‑oriented mindset, strategic and critical thinking, independent problem‑solving capability.
  • Excellent partnering, communication, and presentation skills (cross‑functional and up to C‑level).
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), consolidation software and SAC skills a definite plus.
  • Knowledge of English at a fluent level; German knowledge would be a plus.
  • Willingness to travel.
