Our client is one of the biggest chemical companies in the world and due to intensive development in terms of new acquisitions in Poland, an experienced Financial Controller is essential for further success.

Job Description

• Manage finance and accounting teams in two locations in Poland
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses for business projects
• Interpret financial data to assess past performance and project future trends
• Support in ongoing SAP implementation
• Ensure smooth data flow for accurate monthly closing
• Maintain budget monitoring systems and recommend cost improvements

The Successful Applicant

• Relevant experience in a finance position, preferably in an international production environment
• Masters degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance
• Strong leadership skills and experience in managing financial teams
• Proven experience in analyzing and interpreting data, creating relevant reports, and communicating insights to all layers of the organization
• Experience with implementation of ERP systems (preferably SAP)
• Ability to influence management decisions with facts and figures
• Good understanding of Polish GAAP, IFRS, and accounting processes
• Very good oral and written skills in English
• Highly accountable, proactive, and able to work independently in a dynamic environment
• M&A integration experience is a plus
