Controllership Supervisor – France, Belgium & Satellites countries Miejsce pracy: Kraków Your responsibilities Oversee all financial matters for Herbalife Nutrition France & Belgium, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and local statutory requirements. Work closely with the Senior Manager Controllership and EMEA GBS teams to maintain accurate and compliant accounting records and ensure systems function effectively. Monitor Service Level Agreements (SLA), Service Partnership Agreements (SPA), and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for France & Belgium, taking corrective action when needed. Liaise with EMEA Regional Finance Management on all country financial issues. Provide oversight of tax affairs (direct and indirect), statutory accounting, and fiscal matters, ensuring adherence to local regulations and corporate policies. Ensure compliance with SOX controls, corporate finance policies, and ethics standards by working closely with EMEA SOX, Ethics & Compliance (ECO), and FSP teams. Guarantee that US, EMEA, and corporate reporting deadlines are met, including monthly financial statements by the 4th workday. Ensure timely and accurate responses to corporate and local requests for information. Manage accounting, treasury, tax, and fiscal procedures and policies for France & Belgium, including statutory reporting and tax filings (corporate tax, VAT, social security). Identify and enforce sound internal control procedures and assist with SOX compliance. Monitor distributor compliance with fiscal and legal requirements and keep tax planning opportunities under review. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external auditors, tax advisers, and financial institutions. Support sub-process owners and line management to achieve Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Participate in reviews, assignments, or projects involving business change as required. Build strong, positive relationships with EMEA GBS staff in Kraków and administer company policies within the department. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including Corporate Finance, Tax, and Treasury teams in Los Angeles. Continuously seek opportunities for process standardization and optimization with a “build it better” mindset. Our requirements Degree-level qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a GBS Shared Service Centre environment within Finance, ideally in Record to Report, though this is not mandatory. Very good command of English, min. B2 level. Very good command of Polish and French is a nice to have . Strong knowledge of local corporate and income taxes, local GAAP, and US GAAP. Hands-on experience with ERP systems (preferably Oracle), including usage and implementation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Access (advanced Excel skills required). Strong positive attitude and proactive approach. Creative thinker with an “out of the box” mindset. Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy and perfection. You will oversee the full scope of income tax, taxes and VAT processes under strict deadlines. In addition, you will manage payroll and social security obligations for France and Belgium. You will coordinate France month end TB with the support of GBS. Your role includes leading month-end close activities, such as trial balance promotion and OneStream reconciliations (preparer), and ensuring compliance with corporate finance policies, SOX controls, ethics, and internal standards.
