Controllers performs critical analysis to ensure the internal and external financial and non-financial information of the firm is accurate. Controllers engages regularly with the firm’s regulators and auditors and through its strong culture of control and challenge helps to protect the firm from reputational and other risks.

Controllers ensure that the Firm meets all the financial control and reporting obligations of a global, regulated and public financial institution. Controllers also ensure that the Firms activities are conducted in compliance with the regulations governing transactions in the financial markets.
YOUR IMPACT
We are looking for an individual to join our Client Assets function. Responsibilities and scope of role will include all aspects of the client asset function – both daily control functions and project/business analysis as well as governance, oversight and partnership across all revenue and other divisions such as, Legal, Compliance and Technology. The role offers opportunities to enhance understanding of various business offerings.
The Client Assets team is responsible for ensuring compliance with UK FCA Client Asset regulations and other equivalent regulations in EMEA. They are responsible for the daily client money lock up calculation, custody asset segregation and analysis of client balances across a broad range of business areas, regulatory governance mechanisms and reporting within the various regulated entities. The team also are responsible for partnering with business analysis and implementation teams, driving forward various programs and initiatives, providing operational oversight of Client Assets rule compliance, improving risk & control frameworks, meeting commercial initiatives, and liaising with regulators.
