We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented
Controller to join the
Private Markets team of one of our global asset management clients, supporting their Private Credit investment platform. This is a key role within a dynamic and international finance function, responsible for overseeing the financial reporting and control framework across a range of complex fund structures.
The successful candidate will play a central role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, managing third-party service providers, and supporting both ongoing operations and strategic initiatives related to fund launches, audits, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead the preparation and review of consolidated financial reports for Private Credit funds on a monthly and quarterly basis, ensuring compliance with internal policies and relevant accounting standards.
- Oversee the valuation process for both liquid and illiquid assets, including direct loans, syndicated loans, and fixed income instruments.
- Review and approve NAV calculations, including swing pricing adjustments, prepared by third-party administrators.
- Coordinate and manage the annual audit process for multiple fund entities, working closely with auditors and internal stakeholders.
- Support the implementation of new products and operational changes, ensuring smooth integration between internal teams and external service providers.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of internal controls, reporting procedures, and documentation standards.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Your Background: - At least 5 years of experience in fund accounting, financial control, or audit, ideally within the private credit or alternative investment space.
- Strong understanding of IFRS, Lux GAAP, and US GAAP.
- Hands-on experience with NAV oversight, asset pricing, and fund operations.
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualifications such as ACCA or CPA are highly valued.
- Excellent Excel skills and proficiency in other Microsoft Office tools.
- Fluent English.
