Verita HR Polska is a Human Resources service provider operating under number 5694. We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Clients behalf for a person in the following role:

Control Manager, Finance ESG Change

Responsibilities:

  1. Support the targeted end-to-end control environment design aligning with targeted operating model and solution design to ensure a sustainable control environment for various ESG processes within Global Finance.
  2. Elicit control requirements for the ESG and Sustainable Finance related initiatives that have an impact to Global Finance processes for both external disclosures and internal reporting and monitoring based on to-be system architecture and operating model.
  3. Perform risk and control assessments on ESG processes at various stages of project delivery.
  4. Perform Non-Financial Risk assessment on ESG and Sustainable Finance related initiatives managed by ESG FCD team.
  5. Contribute to programme testing approach and documents, including gathering controls design and operational effectiveness testing evidence during dry run or parallel run.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  2. Strong risk and control background and work experience, preferably in a leading accounting firm or financial services sector. Good knowledge of NFR and operational risk management frameworks.
  3. Experience of designing and implementing new processes and controls to mitigate non-financial risks, including evaluating processes and controls over financial reporting and operational processes.
  4. Experience of performing risk assessments throughout the project lifecycle, including NFR assessments and be able to present to Risk Stewards to seek approvals.
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
