- Improve Technology, Cyber and Data risk and controls metrics and reporting using insights gathered from various data sources, own research and customer feedback.
- Identify new requirements for Technology, Cyber and Data risk and control reporting and work with MI Reporting Team to implement them.
- Respond to information requests from management and investigate available data to provide new insight into risk and control management topics.
- Challenge existing Risk and Control metrics via a standard process.
- Work closely with our data engineers to assess the relevance of available information for Technology Risks and Controls.
- Solve problems through change and transformation effort lead by GCIO CCO Shared Services Team.
Our requirements
- At least 3 years of experience with data analytics.
- Experience with analysis of complex, large volume data and ability to translate it into action driven insight for senior management.
- Knowledge and proficiency in SQL, Python and Excel.
- Knowledge and experience with visualization tools (Qlik, PowerBi) is desired.
- Understanding of Technology Risk and Control Management concepts, including Key Control Indicators, Key Risk Indicators and Key Performance indicators and their use in Risk and Control management.
- Flexible and adaptable, able to handle and prioritise competing demands in a fast-paced change environment.
- Proven ability to co-operate with global teams on solving complex challenges.

About the role
- The GCIO Chief Control Office (CCO) team plays an important role in enabling the bank to operate within its risk appetite by ensuring efficient and effective risk and control management. We do this by providing operational risk and control expertise, specialist technical knowledge and a deep understanding of the businesses and functions we serve.
- Key activities include implementation and oversight of the Group’s Risk Management Framework, ongoing and targeted controls assessments, implementing and maintaining robust risk governance, and championing a proactive risk culture. GCIO CCO works closely with partners across all lines of defense and is responsible for maintaining positive relationships with our regulators and external partners.
- GCIO CCO Shared Services Team will work on improvement of existing ways of working, tools and processes for risk and control management.
