The Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Contracts Manager to oversee the successful delivery of multiple construction and refurbishment projects. This is a senior-level role requiring excellent leadership, commercial awareness, and a strong focus on quality and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple construction and refurbishment contracts from pre-construction through to completion.
• Oversee project teams, ensuring work is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Lead on contract administration, procurement, and cost control processes.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction throughout each project.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Work collaboratively with site teams, subcontractors, and consultants to achieve operational excellence.

About You

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the construction or refurbishment industry.
• Strong technical understanding across a variety of project types, including healthcare, education, commercial, and residential.
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills.
• A proactive and professional approach, with a commitment to quality and safety.
