As the Global Directs & Innovation – Contracting & Sourcing Manager , you will work collaboratively with business owners, global commercial and R&D category leaders, and global & regional procurement colleagues.

The successful candidate will develop fit for purpose contracting solutions to facilitate faster delivery for OTC business owners and establish and execute the Skin Health innovation procurement strategy. Manage global supplier enabling innovation tools critical to engage supplier and accelerate innovation.

You will possess excellent negotiation and communication skills, be results-oriented, and have a passion for collaborating and building relationships.

In this role you will…

1. Coordinate OTC sourcing and contracting processes and activities, while taking smart risks.
2. Negotiate and execute agreements in a timely manner under a defined category or contracting strategy.
3. Apply legal principles in a global environment, effectively cooperate and communicate with cross-functional teams (Legal, Finance or other functions) as needed.
4. Build relationships and ensure effective communication with key internal stakeholders; understand business requirements, support non-standard workflow requests, position Procurement’s value proposition.
5. Manage critical supplier engagement tools and build relationships with preferred suppliers to ensure the value of the supplier-Haleon relationship is optimized.
6. Partner with Global Brands Lead to build a best-in-class Skin Health innovation pipeline to address unmet business needs by leveraging external existing and emerging collaborations.
7. Develop a sound understanding of the marketing drivers for the Skin Health category and become expert in technology areas that will shape the future of the Skin Health category.
8. Lead Skin Health scouting and sourcing activities for new ingredients, products, packaging, services and/or solutions to support New Product Development and launch.
9. Deliver Skin Health category innovation projects and collaborate with R&D, marketing, internal and external Supply Chain, Regulatory, others with a focus on speed to launch and growth.
10. Support the implementation of / develop complex sourcing strategies on specific technologies.
11. Support end to end cost optimization, complexity reduction and supplier relationship management enabling to win in the Category.
12. Consistently demonstrate Haleon’s values and behaviors, foster the environment of a modern employer. Contribute to cultural change to enable an organization focused on decision-making, accountability, quality, speed, performance, results, and collaboration.

Qualifications & Skills:

1. University Degree (preferable: Supply Chain, Procurement, Science)
2. Excellent English communication skills (written and oral)
3. Experience in delivery of quality, compliant, timely, well-specified agreements
4. 3+ years of Procurement and contracting experience
5. Proven track record of simplification/innovation project delivery
6. Literacy of Ariba, Conga, SAP systems or similar tools

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

1. Other foreign language capability will be a plus
2. Experience of working in multinational company
3. Flexibility in learning new competencies on-job in procurement environment
