Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Contract Management Specialist fluent in Japanese and English to join our client’s global team. In this role, you will manage and coordinate the full contract lifecycle—from drafting and reviewing documents to ensuring compliance and efficient collaboration across departments. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with Procurement and Legal teams while engaging with international stakeholders and partners.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily contract requests, escalate issues to the Legal team when required, and coordinate the signature process
- Oversee the complete contract lifecycle to ensure timely execution and effective collaboration
- Maintain and assess contract records in compliance with company retention policies, using digital tools to enhance accuracy and accessibility
- Collaborate with Procurement Category Management to align contract terms with strategic and negotiated outcomes
- Provide guidance to internal stakeholders to ensure contracts deliver intended goals and value
- Draft, review, and revise various commercial agreements, including consulting, vendor, and partnership contracts
Requirements
- Fluency in Japanese and English, both spoken and written
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with legal documentation or in a legal/contract-related role
- Strong understanding of contract management processes and compliance principles
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Proficiency in digital tools and document management systems
