About the role:
As a Continuous Improvement Lead, you will play a key role within the Shared Services Leadership Team in Kraków, focusing on shaping and driving continuous improvement initiatives across multiple delivery services, including but not limited to Financial Services (e.g., Fixed Assets, Performance & Planning Management), HR, Administration, Procurement, and others.
This position offers a unique opportunity to actively contribute to process excellence and collaborate with business partners across all Zurich Capability Centers to share best practices and influence long-term strategy. You will be responsible for leading initiatives from concept to execution and acting as a subject matter expert in process optimization.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end continuous improvement projects in financial areas such as: month-end closure activities, reconciliations, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, journal postings, financial statements, accruals and others within GL
- Take a holistic approach to identify business improvement opportunities, develop solutions, manage initiatives and allocate necessary resources
- Deliver tailored, cost-effective solutions by employing appropriate improvement methodologies through robotics and automation (UiPath), Power Bi, Power Apps and other tools as appropriate to achieve anticipated efficiency gains for ZCC Krakow and relevant Business Units in scope
- Facilitate business processes workshops (e.g. Kaizen) to identify improvement opportunities and eliminate waste
- Provide expert guidance and support in the establishment of best practices for improvement execution and change management
- Implement effective communication strategies and procedures to share best practices, promote improvement initiatives across ZCC Krakow and Business Units
- Integrate specific metrics and measures into solutions that align with business strategy, enabling progress tracking, impact assessment of changes, and identification for further improvement opportunities
- Lead Lean Six Sigma Program at ZCC Kraków Lean Six Sigma Program, promoting a culture of excellence in the center
Requirements:
- At least 5+ years’ work experience in a complex, multinational organization
- Understanding and a proven track record of identifying, shaping and delivering continuous improvement projects within financial processes, particularly in areas such as General Ledger, Financial Planning & Performance
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to build long lasting relationships with all levels within organization and other stakeholders
- Broad understanding of continuous improvement methodologies, best practices and trends on the market
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified as minimum
- Project management and change management skills and experience
- MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Power tools (Power App, Query, BI) knowledge
- Other technical skills like MS SharePoint, VBA, SAP scripting, SQL, UiPath, Power Platform will be a bonus
- Excellent English language skills
