Job Description - Consultant (CREQ117080)
Responsibilities
- Coordinate a group of testers (min. 5) to deliver UAT testing on time (i.e. assign tasks and priorities)
- Lead documentation and requirements analysis, design and implementation of test strategy and test plans for assigned testing items
- Coordinate testing tasks for assigned testing items – test initiation, scripts preparation, entry and exit criteria definition and verification, test execution, progress reporting and test closure
- Review or design test scripts, test conditions, input test data and expected results
- Execute manual & automated tests using test scripts according to UAT plans / approach
- Apply UAT metrics to manage test execution and communication to stakeholders
- Report execution progress (i.e. Daily Status Reports, Entry Criteria check, HP ALM updates)
- Review and manage defects identified during UAT
- Lead UAT defect calls and participate in project status calls
- Ensure that test results are documented in agreed, common and consistent manner
- Lead closure document creation and UAT sign-offs collection
- Inform GATE management and Project Manager / Requestor re any issues that may impact on-time delivery or quality of the end product
- Prepare adequate test evidence and testing documentation for approvals and decisions
- Adhere to UAT & automation procedures, use common tools (HP ALM, URT) and best practices
- Apply testing excellence
- Operate within agreed business SLAs, KPIs, control processes and confidentiality standards
Required Skills
- A minimum of 3 years (mandatory) testing experience (incl. data flows), preferably in AML
- At least 2 years experience in financial institutions and knowledge of banking products
- Experience with Waterfall software development lifecycle (Agile is a plus)
- Working knowledge of project management methodologies
- Knowledge of applications supporting testing process: HP ALM (mandatory) or Jira, Bugzilla, etc. (optional).
- Knowledge of relationship databases, SQL, Oracle
- ISTQB (or similar) certification
- ISTQB Advanced - Testing Manager (or similar) certification
- English language skills – fluent (reading, writing and speaking)
- Ability to coordinate group of testers, assign tasks and priorities, gather results and manage & report risks
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks
- Logically minded and able to understand complex issues
- Ability to quickly pick up the required knowledge and skills
- Ability to work under stress and in time‑pressured environment
- Experience in international and multicultural environment
