ARA Curus is part of the Suez Group of companies. We specialise in the biogas and biomethane sector and are growing quickly. We are involved in the entire lifecycle of biogas plants, from design to construction, operations, and maintenance. We plan to build 8 biogas plants in the coming 24 months. We also cooperate with the Suez Polish Branch office and the Suez International Engineering and Construction team based in Paris.

We are looking for a construction site manager to manage the construction of one biogas plant in Poland.

The position is based in Wiadrów, close to Legnica, Lower Silesia, Poland.

The role will include the everyday tasks of a construction site manager in a process plant; the Suez Group focuses on health and safety, and your communication and adherence to health and safety procedures with all stakeholders will be a key part of the role.

Also, when dealing with international offices and technology partners while delivering projects in Poland, dual language skills will be needed every day, including translating documents and meetings from Polish to English and English to Polish.

Responsibilities

• Organising, planning, and supervising all construction tasks by legal regulations, internal procedures, and the requirements of the Client and Supervision.
• Continuously monitoring the progress of work.
• Coordinating the work of subcontractors, ensuring the efficient use of materials and equipment.
• Supervising and controlling the construction budget, settling with subcontractors.
• Preparing reports and cooperating with the Project Manager.
• Supervising the preparation of subcontractor and acceptance documentation.

Requirements

• Secondary or higher technical education – specialisation in General Construction.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the position of Construction Manager (experience in the construction of wastewater treatment plants, waste facilities, or biogas plants is a plus).
• Construction license for managing construction works in structural and construction specialities.
• Ability to efficiently organise work from technical, logistical, and economic perspectives.
• Responsibility, problem-solving skills, and decision-making ability.
• Category B driving license.
• Fluent in both Polish and English language.
• Anticipation, reporting, and objectives focused.
• Team spirit.
