We are looking for an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in construction and subcontractor coordination, particularly in the mechanical and electrical (M&E) fields. This is an on-site role (Gdansk, Poland) supporting an industrial/pharmaceutical-type project environment.

The position focuses primarily on daily site management, contractor coordination and progress tracking.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, update, and review the project program and daily site activities.
• Be present on site during all relevant project operations.
• Act as the first point of contact for both the client and subcontractors on site.
• Oversee daily Site Manager activities, including performing Last Minute Risk Assessments (LMRA), managing work permits, and acting as the first contact in case of site incidents.
• Participate in coordination meetings with the client, internal teams, and contractors.
• Support the Project Manager by providing regular updates, identifying risks, delays, and critical path issues.
• Coordinate day-to-day activities of mechanical/electrical subcontractors and monitor installation progress.
• Manage equipment deliveries, storage, and documentation.
• Prepare and track 3 and 6 week lookahead plans together with the Project Manager.
• Monitor progress against the baseline schedule and support contingency adjustments when needed.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports according to project requirements.
• Contribute to hand-over documentation and support project completion milestones.
• Assess and confirm required site resources (materials, equipment, manpower) within budget considerations.

Qualifications

• Over 4 years of experience in construction site management or technical installation projects, ideally in industrial or pharmaceutical environments.
• Strong ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and manage day-to-day on-site operations.
• Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems (HVAC, chilled water, heat pumps, control systems).
• Good knowledge of Polish and English.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with clients, contractors, and project teams.
• Ability to monitor project progress and identify risks related to scheduling and execution.
