From Taylor Hopkinson we are searching for a Construction Project Manager to join a leading renewable energy company focused on development, construction and operation of renewable energy projects in Europe.
This person will be based in Gliwice (Poland) with frequent travels to the local projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage the company’s construction pipeline across Poland which includes visits to the site when required
- Coordinate the local and construction team for the stages that are related from pre-construction until the COD
- Once the projects are about to start the construction, tendering and negotiation with local EPC companies
- Manage the budget and resources for the different stages of the projects to ensure the expected profitability of them
- Manage the RFQs, suppliers and procurement process, together with engineering department
- Evaluate potential risks that affect the normal performance of the project to make timely decisions, mitigate them or reduce their impacts
- Report project status, manage the financial aspects of the projects and optimize some processes if needed
- Interact with local authorities, suppliers and stakeholders when required to ensure a smooth process of implementation of projects
Requirements
- Engineering degree; ideally Electrical Engineering, civil, mechanical or similar
- Previous experience in the renewable energy sector, especially in construction/EPC
- Project Management knowledge would be appreciated
- Willingness to travel as required across Poland
- Fluent in English and Polish
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders
- The ideal candidate should be autonomous, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
