Veeam Quality Assurance team invites you to work on Veeam products with Veeam QA professionals in the Poland R&D office.
responsibilities :
Support/maintenance/troubleshooting of virtualization infrastructure – VMware mainly, some Hyper-V and KVM based virtualization solutions (Proxmox, XCP-ng)
Remote support/maintenance/troubleshooting of enterprise-grade hardware: Server hardware (Generic IPMI/iDRAC/iLO); Data Storage Systems (DAS, iSCSI, FC, NVMEoF)
Support/maintenance/troubleshooting of foundational infrastructure services: DHCP, DNS, MS AD
Communicating with other participants of the product development and testing process regarding technical issues (HW/SW related)
Tasks and procedures optimization and automation
Proactive research of new approaches and solutions
Writing and keeping up to date internal KB articles
Monitoring services management and maintenance (Zabbix, VMware Aria for logs/Operations)
Support/maintenance/troubleshooting of local backup solutions (VBR)
Keeping asset information up to date
requirements-expected :
Technical education or passion for technology
2 plus years on similar position
English proficiency for daily communication within international teams
Knowledge of Microsoft software stack and key technologies (Windows Server, Hyper-V, AD, DNS, DHCP)
Administration experience of VMware vSphere products or KVM based virtualization solutions
Experience in implementing new services/software solutions
Scripting experience (PowerShell/Python)
