This is an opportunity that will present exposure to many well-known Insurance brands, working within a well-established company in the North America Insurance Market with opportunities for career path development in many directions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze commercial and personal lines manual and circular to interpret and validate changes to align with regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and take ownership of our business processes, and recommend improvements in data management, error identification, quality control, or process automation.
- Create and maintain documentation that will support the effective implementation of repeatable processes and workflows. Effectively utilize all programming guides & instructions to analyze the quality of data received and recommend actions for data quality improvements.
- Present your analyses, ideas, progress, and results to internal manager and colleagues. Create clear and easy-to-understand reports.
- Work with business stakeholders to provide advice and guidance.
- Assist in the preparation of, and maintenance of, training material.
- Participate in Agile content development process with an integrated team of content developers and QA analysts.
- Learn and keep current on product features, functionality, and documentation.
- Interpret clients’ needs and translate them into documented business, functional, and technical requirements.
- Work as part of a team and take responsibility for continuous personal and team development.
Qualifications
- University degree.
- 2-3 years’ experience in data operations providing technical or analytical support.
- Familiarity with Object-Oriented programming.
- Experience in using defect tracking tools.
- Familiarity with Agile scrum environment.
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to learn, understand, and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Logical, analytical, and mathematical skills.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Adept at problem solving.
- Professional and well-mannered.
- Ability to respond to instructions and deal with the given task in front of you.
