As a Composition Developer, you will play a significant role in our Composition team, responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and supporting our document creation and delivery platform. The product roadmap for this team includes major development activities and platform modernization initiatives over the next few years. You will be specifically responsible for development effort on HTML/CSS, JSON, OpenText Exstream, and Unix for implementing, administering, and enhancing our Composition Applications. We have our office in Bielsko-Biała (Cavatina Hall) - you can decide if you would like to work remote/hybrid or in on-site model.

• You will be involved in the design/development of documents such as Letters, Checks, Statements, Tax Forms, and a variety of other document types utilizing the HTML/CSS, Exstream and Doc One.
• You will be needed to help refine system change requirements, attend design sessions, present ideas to groups of people with diverse roles and skill levels, and exchange ideas with your team members.
• You will be working on maintaining moderate to complex, write simple Perl/bash scripts, build basic composition workflow.
• You will be responsible for technical analysis, solution definition and design of moderate to complex, multi-channel, interactive (e.g. responsive HTML) Composition applications.
• Understands data structures and data mapping specification for xml and schema model per the W3C’s standards, and JSON.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to document generation and output management.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure the quality and security of developed solutions and Document development processes, procedures, and best practices.
• The candidate would be working on revenue generating projects for CEDAR and Precisely.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with Document Composition Print and Mail Projects involving HTML/CSS, Exstream and Doc One.
• Experience working on different document designing platforms including migration between different platforms and version upgrades.
• Strong knowledge of document composition concepts and practices including Print and Mail solutions.
• Experience working on XML, XSLT, JSON, and related technologies.
• Experience implementing workflow in Unix and shell scripting.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git/CICD.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
• Amazon AWS knowledge and Certifications is a plus.
• Working hours: we may require 3-4 hours overlap in working hours to work with EST time zone.
