As a Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Acting as first point of contact with reporters of potential integrity violations.
- Intaking allegations for the Global Investigations Team ensuring that the critical facts and information needed to start the investigation are obtained.
- Answering questions in the open reporting tool or directing inquiries to appropriate business functions.
- Assisting in conducting preliminary scoping and/or phone screens with employees and others, often involving sensitive subjects, and referring to appropriate business functions those matters more properly addressed elsewhere in the business.
- Upon consultation with the manager, timely identifying and assigning investigators for all related compliance investigations.
- Tracking the age of pending investigations.
- Closing completed investigations in an open reporting tool ensuring reports include the necessary information to close.
- Assisting in tracking the completion of corrective actions.
- Assisting in compliance awareness programs as required.
- Proactively and transparently identifying process gaps and risks with HR investigations processes and systems.
- Identifying control and compliance components for process improvement.
- Maintaining high standards of accuracy, timeliness, and quality to ensure compliance with relevant policy and process requirements.
- Assisting database checks for employment-related business decisions.
- Assisting in completing legal and employment document requests.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma).
- Have a minimum of 4 years of experience in the Compliance & Regulatory area.
- Have demonstrated experience working with Microsoft products, specifically Excel (working with large amounts of data, merges, pivot tables, vlookups, etc.) and PowerPoint.
- Show HR skills, organizational/project management skills, and the ability to think of compliance from an operational perspective.
