JOB DESCRIPTION

The main responsibility of a Compliance Manager is to act as the face of the company, working closely with C-level clients to support their compliance needs. This includes ensuring the successful implementation of processes and system functionalities, with a strong focus on AML/KYC regulations. The role requires a proactive and results-driven approach, as well as the ability to maintain excellent communication with clients. We operate in two countries with an international client base, so our working language is English.

We expect that you have excellent communication skills, speak and write English fluently, and possess deep knowledge of AML/KYC regulations. A consultant mindset, combined with precision and a commitment to delivering results, will be essential in this client-facing role. As a member of a team in a rapidly growing company, you are able to organize yourself and constantly think about improvements to our compliance processes.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  1. Regulatory Expertise: Stay updated on AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and KYC (Know Your Customer) regulations across the EU and local markets.
  2. Client Representation: Act as the face of the company, communicating with C-level executives and providing expert guidance.
  3. Digital Investor Onboarding: Lead and support clients in implementing AML/KYC investor onboarding processes for funds.
  4. Data Processing and Management: Ensure accurate processing of client-provided data and enter it into the system after obtaining client sign-off. Work on files and datasets, perform data reconciliation, and identify and address discrepancies.
  5. Process Creation: Develop and implement AML/KYC processes tailored to client and regulatory requirements.
  6. System Functionality: Cooperate with the Product Team in defining and enhancing system functionalities to align with compliance needs and client requests.
  7. Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their requirements, provide solutions, and ensure smooth implementation.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. 3+ years of experience in a relevant field, with proven expertise and support to back up your work.
  2. Fluent English (C1/C2): Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to represent the company professionally at the highest levels.
  3. Proven experience with AML/KYC regulations and compliance processes in the EU and local markets.
  4. Strong analytical skills for processing data, identifying discrepancies, and performing reconciliations.
  5. Ability to help design and implement compliance workflows and system functionalities.
  6. Ability to address client queries directly or collaborate cross-team (e.g., with the Customer Success Team) to ensure timely resolutions and smooth communication.
  7. A self-motivated, consultant-minded professional with a focus on delivering results without constant guidance.
  8. Experience in investor onboarding or similar processes is a strong advantage.
  9. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

BSc in Law, Finance, Audit or other relevant field of study, or equivalent of education and experience.
