Your responsibilities

  • Supplier Management: Ensure that suppliers are approved according to quality standards, and maintain a database of Approved Quality Suppliers (AQS). Conduct audits and assessments of suppliers as required.
  • Product Compliance: Monitor and verify that all products meet regulatory and quality standards, including RoHS, REACH, and other applicable regulations. Ensure accurate product documentation, including certifications and test reports.
  • Management of Vendor master data within our ERP system
  • Internal Audits & Inspections: Plan and execute internal audits and inspections to ensure compliance with established procedures, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
  • Non-Conformance Management: Identify and resolve quality issues, document corrective and preventive actions, and ensure continuous improvement in quality-related processes.
  • Training & Support: Provide training to employees on regulatory requirements and company-specific policies to maintain consistent compliance.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain data repository for product compliance with national and international regulations (e.g., RoHS, REACH, CBAM, COSHH, EPDs). Stay up to date on regulatory changes and communicate their impact to relevant stakeholders.
  • Regulatory Filings & Documentation: Coordinate efforts with internal and external experts for all required regulatory filings, registrations, and documentation related to product compliance, including chemical composition, environmental impact, and safety certifications.
  • Risk Management: Proactively address any issues related to non-compliance or regulatory changes and provide guidance on how to mitigate them.
  • Reporting & Communication: Coordinate with internal teams, including product development, legal, trade compliance and procurement, to ensure timely and accurate reporting and compliance with relevant regulatory bodies.
  • Product & Supplier Certifications: Manage and track certifications for products and suppliers to meet required standards. Ensure that all necessary documentation for product safety, environmental impact, and chemical regulations are current and complete.

Our requirements

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Project Management, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in Compliance, Quality Assurance, or Regulatory Affairs roles, preferably within [industry, e.g., manufacturing, chemicals, distribution.
  • Experience with regulatory frameworks such as RoHS, REACH, COSHH, CBAM, and EPDs.
  • Familiarity with quality management standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.) is a strong advantage.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory environments and the ability to interpret and apply regulations to business practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP software (e.g., ERP, PLM systems).
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze complex regulations and quality requirements and translate them into actionable processes.
  • Attention to Detail: High degree of accuracy and attention to detail when reviewing filings, reports, and quality documentation.
  • Proactive Approach: Ability to anticipate regulatory changes and proactively manage compliance across product lines.
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally with various departments, including compliance, product development, and supply chain.
  • Adaptability: Ability to navigate changes in regulatory landscapes and implement strategies that ensure continuous compliance.
  • Strong English language skills. Any other European language is a plus.

This unique hybrid role will combine responsibilities for confirming supplier compliance with our company’s quality assurance programs, while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and coordinating the necessary filings for multiple international standards.
