General description
As IT Practice Lead for “Manage Requirements” in the GDC division, you are an experience professional responsible for leading and supervising a specific IT practice within an GDC.
You are expected to work closely with the practitioners from the 6 GDC delivery Tribes to support the implementation of effective IT solutions that align with the Euroclears goals and objectives.
You are also required to collaborate closely with the other Practice Leads to get an understanding of the “big picture” and “break silos”.
For this, you have a strong technical expertise in your domain, as well as excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills. You must also stay up to date with industry trends, and best practices to ensure Euroclear remains driven and innovative.
responsibilities :
Create a support network for community practitioners, fostering strong bonds within the community
Ensure definition and documentation in an Agile approach are agreed upon and followed using available Euroclear tools
Improve professional maturity within GDC by coaching members when requested and ensuring best practices are adhered to
Break down silos within the division by improving communication, increasing knowledge sharing, reducing duplication of work, and encouraging cross-training
Support skills development paths, including interactions with Squad Leads from the GDC Tribes
Engage members of the Community of Practice actively
Be accountable jointly with the Tribe Leads for embedding SDLC IT controls (Practice Leads for implementation - Tribe Leads for application)
Identify and/or create training materials and interact with IT Training
Represent GDC in the IT Practice Board alongside the Process Owner and Process Manager
Contribute to the recruitment process of practitioners by assessing skills and conducting interviews with Squad Leads
requirements-expected :
A degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, or equivalent with an IT focus
A minimum of 10 to 15 years’ experience in managing requirements with exposure to Agile methodologies, or any combination of education and experience providing an equivalent background
Existing experience in a leading role interacting with team/squad members
Experience in community of practices/guild animation and people development (coaching)
Strong knowledge of Agile principles and practices with experience in large-scale Agile implementations
Good understanding of capital markets, bond issuance and pre-issuance multi-party workflow, settlement, and custody activities, with an understanding of underlying business risks
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking, public speaking, listening, influencing skills, and time management!
Negotiation skills, with proven ability to influence team members and key collaborators
Outstanding documentation and presentation skills
Proficiency in English, both spoken and written
