About the Role

Position: Commissioning Engineer / Inżynier rozruchu i inspektor turbin parowych

How You’ll Make an Impact:

1. Providing recommendations to customers based on specifications and requirements.
2. Contributing to planning and implementing commissioning activities, supporting, and coordinating installation activities with the Installation Supervisor / Site Manager, implementing commissioning design changes, providing mark-ups for as-built project documentation.
3. Supporting continuous improvement of process/product/system design, participating in internal review meetings, providing inputs on commissioning activities and other tasks and equipment.
4. Perform commissioning of turbines during COLD and HOT commissioning phases, starting from single component to the full system (Turbine and auxiliaries) according to specifications and engineering documents, including functional tests and logic interlocks verification and reports.
5. Effectively identifies technical or schedule problems as they occur and takes appropriate actions to resolve including partner concern of more complex issues to a higher level, providing expert advice and technical assistance to support staff and subordinate technicians of customers.
6. Performs measurements and compiles records to document condition of equipment and assure quality, provides required documentation and reports in accordance with the procedure.

What You Bring:

1. Bachelor/Master of Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical and Process), or a High School Diploma with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the relevant field of work. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; work experience in the relevant field of work is a plus.
2. General profound understanding of technical equipment and ability to work with/based on technical documentation.
3. Digital literacy, confident user of relevant IT applications (Microsoft Office); additional IT competence will be beneficial.
4. Experience in power plant operations and/or Oil & Gas operations and/or specific Steam turbine operations and maintenance know-how is an advantage.
5. Pro-active, problem-solving attitude, readiness to take additional tasks to improve the status quo if needed.
6. Understanding of relevant industry standards for Quality and HSE.
7. Fluent in English Language (Written & Oral); other languages are beneficial.
8. Strong analytical skills with an affinity to technology and innovation in the service industry combined with a proactive and convincing attitude.
9. Great teammate with a high level of resilience, the ability to work independently under pressure, multitask, and focus on problem-solving in a complex environment collaborating with international teams.
10. Willing to travel 100% - usually, you are on site for 200 days per year (worldwide projects).
