Commercial Manager PL/CEE

Location: Poland (Home Based)

Job type: Permanent

The Commercial Manager plays a critical role in optimizing pricing strategy and ensuring that reimbursements are maintained in all CEE markets. This role requires coordination between global and local stakeholders as well as managing all pricing activities for the cluster markets. This role will also support in tender applications as well as support wider commercial activities in primary Poland as well as other EU/Non-EU markets.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Pricing strategy: seek to optimize pricing strategy for our portfolio by building business cases and coordinating with external stakeholders and customers.
  • Pricing submissions into central database, ERP pricing maintenance and close collaboration with local market access consultants and central teams.
  • Application of tenders in CEE markets as well acting as back up for commercial colleagues applying for tenders in other EU markets.
  • Establish regular commercial discussions with direct customers on possible opportunities and motivate key decision makers for the implementation (tenders, new business cases, new distribution channels, optimization of performance and processes, etc.)
  • Contract negotiation, monitoring of sales and demand planning for the Polish market.
  • Participation in CEE/Cluster projects and support wider commercial colleagues in the cluster.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years pharmaceutical experience.
  • Experience in market access and working with wholesalers/partners in the pharma industry.
  • Knowledge of the Polish pharmaceutical market and regulations.
  • Knowledge on the tendering process as well as international reference pricing and reimbursement systems.
  • Very good Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Fluent in Polish with a high level of English (other CEE languages advantageous).
  • University degree.
  • Agile, open to change and a willingness to support a large variety of tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-regional and cross-functional teams and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance in business activities.
