Job Purpose



Responsibility for Commercial & Sales Finance activities in Poland, partnering all cross-functions, highlighting Marketing, Customer Strategy Planning and Customer Development functions. This role requires a business-oriented mindset, challenging attitude, and excellent communication skills and style. The role sits at the heart of the commercial decision-making process to develop plans and actions together with the business to realize the strategy and in-year plans. If you are passionate about delivering high performance in a complex business environment with a problem-solving and owner’s mindset, this is the role for you. Within the role, you will play a critical role in driving Customer Collaboration (incl. Negotiation) and proper Customer IBP.



What Will Your Main Responsibilities Be



  1. Supporting commercial decision making for Customer Development teams, Marketing and Customer Strategy Planning.
  2. Financial support in negotiation by delivering tools, scenarios, and critical thinking.
  3. Trade Marketing Investments budget control, both Trade Terms (contractual rebates) and Consumer Price Promotions according to limits.
  4. Marketing budget control and help in budget-related questions.
  5. Supporting the value creation agenda, with a focus on return on our investments.
  6. Bringing curiosity to drive progress and financial improvements in several areas (e.g. process simplification).
  7. Performance analysis and advising interventions for delivery of in-year financial targets.
  8. Working closely with the audit team regarding Trade Marketing Investments controls.
  9. Helping in ensuring the control framework is in place and working.

What You Need To Succeed



Experiences & Qualifications



  1. Professional finance qualification.
  2. 4+ years of experience in financial, operational and/or business partnering roles.
  3. Biased towards actions that have the most impact on the business.
  4. Good understanding of FMCG P&L & experience with month-end/FC processes.
  5. Able to work under time pressure and prioritize multiple tasks.
  6. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to see the big picture while interested in diving into details.
  7. Proactive, hands-on mentality to ensure things get done and holding self & others accountable.
  8. Strong engagement, presentation, and communication skills.
  9. Fluency in Polish and English is a must (both written and oral).
  10. Critical thinking to challenge the status quo.
  11. Experience in being accountable for Target delivery and taking responsibility.

Skills



  1. High degree of flexibility and ability to quickly understand new topics.
  2. Strong business and financial acumen, good P&L understanding.
  3. Strong Microsoft Office skills including working with large amounts of data in Excel.
  4. Ability to work fluidly with data and across systems.
  5. High understanding and fluent use of PBI tools, like: Analyse My Business (performance management tool), Transfer Prices Information Tool (COGS per unit database), Cost Control.
  6. Strong analytical skills, and accounting and data accuracy skills.
  7. Excellent attention to detail.
  8. Strong prioritization skills.
  9. Excellent engagement, presentation, and communication skills.
  10. Strength in holding others accountable, particularly peers and senior leadership.
  11. Courage to drive change.
