Commercial Controlling Specialist

We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive Commercial Controlling Specialist to join our Finance & Distribution Department. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, international environment and directly support strategic decision‑making within the organization.

Job Details

  • Location: Warsaw
  • Office attendance: 3 days per week in the office

Responsibilities

  • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes for assigned business areas.
  • Prepare ad hoc analyses and “what‑if” scenarios to support strategic decision‑making.
  • Provide business recommendations and insights for the Management Board.
  • Support company‑wide finance and distribution projects with data‑driven input.
  • Analyze opportunities and risks, including potential gains and losses across scenarios.
  • Cooperate closely with the Distribution, Supply Chain, and Demand Planning teams.
  • Improve reporting processes, especially in the areas of stock levels, deliveries, and distribution indicators.
  • Collect budget data and collaborate with budget owners (e.g., Marketing Director, Distribution Director).
  • Prepare P&L reports for management.
  • Work with internal and external audit as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in controlling or financial analysis.
  • Experience in commercial, sales, or business controlling is highly preferred.
  • Pharma experience is an advantage; retail/FMCG is also very welcome.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions and provide recommendations.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including modern functionalities.
  • Experience working with Power BI (data models, dashboards, reporting).
  • At least basic knowledge of SQL.
  • Familiarity with Oracle (JD Edwards) is nice to have.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with senior stakeholders.
  • Proactive, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing processes independently.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, international environment and collaborate with central Controlling teams.
