About the department

The Accounts Receivable department supports Coloplast entities across the globe in ensuring that Customer Accounts are up to date. We are a group of 20 people that take care of customer accounts, prepare dunning letters & customer statements, deliver aging reports, support debt collection, and continuously work on improving Accounts Receivable processes. Accounts Receivable is part of Global Finance Support located in Szczecin.

About the job

The role is responsible for managing Accounts Receivable for selected Coloplast entities. This includes keeping track of debts owed to the organization, providing analysis and insight, and acting to resolve outstanding balances. Responsibilities consist of performing debt collection activities such as monitoring accounts, creating aging analysis and dunning for overdue receivables, being the point of contact for customers when resolving billing issues, keeping track and overview of open receivables, and reporting AR key finance indicators to the Team Leader and relevant Business Stakeholders. The position also includes looking at processes in terms of improvements and standardization.

Responsibilities

  1. Performing analysis and overview of receivables accounts
  2. Monitoring all aspects of the collection of outstanding debts owed to the company
  3. Performing matchings on customer accounts based on investigation and LOB request
  4. Following up and proactively contacting customers regarding overdue invoices
  5. Daily contact with customers via e-mail or telephone
  6. Developing models/financial reports and preparing key finance indicators related to AR
  7. Working on continuous improvements of the processes
  8. Being the point of contact to resolve customer inquiries regarding billing issues
  9. Supporting Credit Limit Management activities
  10. Updating customer credit card information

Requirements

  1. Very good written and verbal English skills
  2. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accountancy, Economy, Business Management or similar
  3. Experience in a transactional role within Accountancy/Finance area with direct exposure to Customers
  4. Practical experience in Excel
  5. Data entry skills – comfortable user of ERP systems and spreadsheets
  6. Experience in Customer Service role will be an additional benefit
  7. Availability in the afternoon (2-3 times a week) due to the US market time difference
