This position is based at our friendly office in Warsaw and you will join the Securities Trading Team in Wealth Management and Trading Domain. The team develops products and concepts around Trading and Settlement. Tasks related to Sustainable Finance – Customer preference and Target Market, New Investment universe (NIU), Post Trade harmonization are few examples of the focus areas for the team.
It’s important to mention that a greater part of our tasks is regarding maintenance and development around existing and upcoming regulations within Securities Trading and Settlement which entails talking to our member banks as well read and understand the existing business manuals, which are in Danish. The team will soon expand in Poland. Therefore, experience to work in a cross-border setup is an advantage.
As a Cobol software engineer, you will play a key role in building our Business Solutions. You will be a part of a dynamic team of three business analyst and five software developers. At BEC, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, but we also keep the opportunity to work remotely up to eight days per month. Your direct manager will be Shrabony Basu.

Designing the architecture of a solution and drive the development
Engaging directly with customers to develop a better understanding of their needs
Together with the team working on achieving the team goals
Being an active team member and taking responsibility for design, development, testing, implementing and documentation of IT solutions.

requirements-expected :
At least 10 years of experience in Cobol, CICS, DB2, JCL, SQL, IDz/RDz, Erwin and a positive approach towards Unit testing
Ability to communicate with colleagues and stakeholders outside the team to develop the best solutions
To be self-driven, proactive and don’t be shy to express your opinion
