Cluster Air Logistics Director (Poland, Latvia, and Lithuania)
Join our team as a Cluster Air Logistics Director, responsible for leading and developing our Air Logistics operations across Poland, Latvia, and Lithuania. You’ll oversee business performance, customer development, and operational excellence while ensuring alignment with our global Airfreight objectives.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping commercial strategy, overseeing operational performance, managing financial results, and developing a high‑performing team.
How you create impact
- Lead and inspire the Air Logistics teams across Poland, Latvia, and Lithuania, ensuring collaboration and operational excellence.
- Develop and execute national business strategies aligned with Kuehne+Nagel’s global Air Logistics goals.
- Own and manage the Profit & Loss for the three countries, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.
- Drive business development by identifying new opportunities and strengthening key customer relationships.
- Partner closely with global and regional Air Logistics stakeholders to align strategic initiatives and share best practices.
- Oversee operational performance, ensuring consistent, high‑quality service delivery and continuous improvement.
- Recruit, develop, and retain top talent, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth.
- Represent Kuehne+Nagel’s values and culture as a trusted leader and ambassador for the Air Logistics organization.
What we would like you to bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or Engineering (Master’s or MBA preferred).
- Leadership experience in Air Logistics or Freight Forwarding, with a strong record of commercial and operational success.
- Proven experience in driving business growth and managing full P&L responsibility.
- Excellent interpersonal and intercultural skills to manage diverse stakeholders and teams.
- Skilled in negotiation, influencing, and conflict resolution at senior levels.
- Analytical and strategic mindset, with strong financial and project management capabilities.
- Fluency in English required; knowledge of Polish or another local language is an advantage.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
