We are seeking a Cloud Solution Architect to support a UK-based retail client in designing next-generation AI-driven systems. The role focuses on vector search, agent-based solutions, and scalable architectures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This is a remote position aligned with EMEA working hours and involves close collaboration with product and engineering teams.
responsibilities :
Design GCP-based cloud solutions with a focus on GenAI, vector search, and agent frameworks
Work closely with business stakeholders to translate retail use cases into technical architecture
Lead design and advisory for AI/ML capabilities, including LLM-based systems
Ensure performance, scalability, and compliance within cloud environments
Support engineering teams in implementing and optimizing AI-driven workflows
Communicate complex technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
requirements-expected :
5+ years of experience in cloud solution architecture or data/AI engineering
Strong knowledge of GCP services and architecture best practices
Experience with vector databases, semantic search, or agent-based AI systems
Understanding of GenAI/LLM concepts and real-world applications
Background in the retail domain or experience supporting consumer-facing platforms
Excellent communication skills in English
Ability to work effectively across distributed teams in the EMEA region
Professional Cloud Architect (PCA) or equivalent GCP certification required
