The role is responsible for writing and maintaining cloud posture management controls applied to Cloud infrastructure configurations running in AWS.
responsibilities :
Write and maintain preventive, detective, and corrective controls for AWS workloads in alignment with Cloud Security Architecture and Cyber Security Engineering
Fully and robustly test and continuously monitor the existing controls to ensure they continue to be fit for purpose and align with the updated control definitions
Take ownership of the evolution and help to maintain security and compliance related documentation
Support teams to implement remediations in alignment with defined controls
Liaising with other engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to understand our customers needs and use this to help improve the service we provide
Driving continuous improvement of cloud security and automate processes to minimize variation and ensure predictable high quality code and data
Support incident management processes
Proactively research emerging threats and vulnerabilities to aid in the identification of cloud threats
requirements-expected :
At least 3 years of experience working with AWS
Experience in a cloud security focussed role (working within a SIEM; AWS IAM)
Customer/stakeholder focus. Ability to build strong relationships with Application teams, cross functional IT and global/local IT teams.
Working knowledge of software development, DB and IaC tools and technologies; e.g Python, Bash, SQL, Terraform, CloudFormation and data formats such as XML, JSON, CSV.
Strong problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills.
Strong knowledge of Agile working methodologies.
