Join the Core Cloud Team

You will become a part of Core Cloud, a team of dedicated professionals within the Enterprise Platform. We are a collaborative group that supports and maintains the foundational technologies for the GN Groups global cloud initiatives. In this role, you will handle the implementation of governance and policy aspects of our data security, ensuring seamless integration of our existing data sources. Our work environment is agile and global, requiring collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

1. Develop, implement, and enhance comprehensive data governance solutions for our cloud environments, aligning with current development frameworks and industry best practices.
2. Serve as a Cloud Data Security Specialist, focusing on securing data and ensuring compliance using Microsoft Purview.
3. Continuously improve and implement key functionalities needed – expanding the functions needed to develop and centralize the implementation of data governance processes in tight collaboration with the Business Intelligence Services Data Governance team.
4. Collaborate with Business Intelligence Services Data Governance team to establish data estate scans and integrate data security measures with the overall governance strategy, assisting cross-functional initiatives where necessary.
5. Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance expertise in data security and contribute to the cloud team center-of-knowledge.
6. Provide 2nd level support on issues and optimization areas on existing deployed governance configurations.

Your Skillset

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in the following areas:

1. Proficiency in cloud development and implementation, particularly with Microsoft Azure.
2. Hands-on experience with data governance and scanning using Microsoft Purview.
3. Good experience with data governance and compliance frameworks.
4. Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, Arm and Bicep.
5. Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks relevant to cloud environments.
6. Thorough knowledge of the Azure Well-Architected Framework (WAF) essential for crafting well-optimized and secure cloud services.
7. Understanding of DevOps or DevSecOps concepts and tools, including CI/CD pipelines.
8. Great problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
9. Collaborative mindset, with a focus on working within cross-functional teams.
10. Entry-level experience with Azure Purview scanning functionality.
11. English proficiency at advanced level.
12. While not required, experience with agile methodologies will be advantageous in this role.
