Cloud Security Consultant (Senior Analyst)
Location: Poland (Hybrid – 6 days per month from the office in Kraków preferred or Warsaw)
Contract type: B2B

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Security Consultant to help assess, enhance, and automate cloud security capabilities in a complex enterprise environment.
This role combines strong cloud security expertise with hands-on Python web development, focusing on building tools that support security posture management, governance, and risk visibility. You will work across multiple workstreams, driving automation initiatives and contributing to the design of scalable security solutions.

To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate:
- Hands-on experience securing assets in at least one major cloud provider environment.
- Minimum 3+ years of cyber security experience in large-scale estates, preferably cloud-hosted.
- Knowledge of security governance frameworks, including IT security controls and configuration baselines.
- Experience assessing vulnerability severity using industry standards such as CVSS.
- 5+ years of experience delivering well-structured web applications using frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
- Experience building unit, integration, and feature tests, and contributing to automated test coverage strategies.
- Strong background developing data-driven web applications using sources such as Power BI, SQL databases, ServiceNow, cloud platforms, or APIs.
- Expertise in secrets management and secure configuration using tools such as HashiCorp Vault.
- High adaptability in dynamic environments.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex topics clearly and create high-quality documentation.
- A proactive mindset, strong sense of ownership, and professional integrity.
Nice to Have
- Industry-recognised certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, CISM, or Cloud Security certifications.
- Experience with Wiz CNAPP.
- Knowledge of Power BI.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Container technologies (Docker).
- Experience with additional programming languages beyond Python.
