As a Cloud Security Consultant, you will play a key role in assessing cloud security posture and maturity, designing and championing security solutions, and identifying opportunities for efficiency and automation. This role combines strong technical expertise in Python web development frameworks with a solid background in cyber security, offering exposure to multiple workstreams beyond coding.

responsibilities :
Lead activities related to planning, designing, and executing projects using Python web development frameworks such as Flask and Django.
Submit recommendations to improve the effectiveness, performance, usability, and value of existing solutions.
Collaborate across functions to deliver shared objectives and eliminate duplication.
Contribute to workstreams related to Cloud Security Assessments, security scoring initiatives, cloud security controls, and baseline governance.
Liaise with cloud platform engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with mandatory security controls.

requirements-expected :
Hands-on experience securing cloud assets under major cloud providers.
3+ years of cyber security experience covering large asset estates, preferably in cloud environments.
Familiarity with cyber security governance, IT security controls, and configuration baselines.
Experience assessing vulnerabilities using industry frameworks (e.g., CVSS).
Proven track record delivering well-structured web applications using Flask, Django, FastAPI (5+ years).
Experience developing unit, integration, and feature tests, and contributing to automation test coverage.
Strong experience building web applications based on data from sources such as PowerBI, SQL databases, ServiceNow, cloud environments, or product APIs.
Knowledge of secure coding practices and secret management solutions (e.g., HashiCorp Vault).
Ability to adapt to changing environments, work independently or in a team, and contribute to discussions at all levels.
Strong problem-solving skills and excellent written and spoken communication skills.
