Cloud Platform Engineer Miejsce pracy: Warszawa Technologies we use Expected Microsoft Azure Python Spark SQL PowerShell Bash Operating system Windows About the project We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Platform Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team. In this role, you will design, build and maintain a central data platform that ensures efficient data processing and accessibility for a global insurance company. Your contributions will be pivotal in enhancing our data infrastructure and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. Your responsibilities Design and implement scalable, high-performance data platform to support diverse data needs for global enterprise Ensure fulfillment of performance requirements, cost optimization, data protection, IT security and scalability needs Cooperate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists and BI Developers to understand requirements fully and navigate to best long term solutions Resolve incidents DevOps mindset - you build it, you run it :) Our requirements Expertise in data resources within cloud platforms (Azure preferred - Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Fabric etc.) Proficient in Python (Spark oriented), SQL and PowerShell/Bash Design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines and IaC DevQAOps mindset (to built, to assure, to own it) Understanding of modern concepts, such as Data Lakehouse, Delta Lake, Data Vault Knowledge of architecture and engineering design patterns & best practices Ability to cooperate efficiently with clients and different departments as well as willingness to support new team members Enterprise-grade project experience and consulting experience desirable Willingness to learn new technologies and approaches Fluent English is mandatory Competence to manage tasks, problem solving Ability to explore new paths Hands-on mentality and capability to work independently on tasks Experience working in an agile environment Capability of result oriented communication with people from different departments with different skill sets Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and tools Optional Expertise in MLOps This is how we work on a project Continuous Deployment Continuous Integration What we offer Contract under Polish law: B2B or Umowa o Pracę Benefits such as private medical care, group insurance, Multisport Hybrid work in Warsaw Opportunity to work with excellent professionals High standards of work and focus on the quality of code New technologies in use Continuously learning and growth International team Pinball, PlayStation & much more (on-site ) Benefits sharing the costs of sports activities private medical care life insurance remote work opportunities fruits video games at work coffee / tea drinks parking space for employees leisure zone Pinball, PlayStation & much more English classes Recruitment stages A quick phone call with our Recruiter.
